A new year means new classes and, sometimes, new stressors. Connecting with peers is a great way to unwind and helps you navigate academic difficulties.
Joining the UMHiSA Discord will allow you to chit-chat with other history students, arrange study sessions, and learn more about the History department. It will also keep you updated on in-person events put on by UMHiSA.

Historical Cooking Night
On February 4th, UMHiSA will be hosting a Historical Cooking Night on Zoom at 7:30 PM. Get your
aprons and ingredients ready to make Xocolatl, an Aztec chocolate drink, and Ring Jumbles; a drink
and dessert that will transport you back in time. This event will be a wonderful way to test out your
cooking skills, expand your knowledge of food history, and have fun with great people! All attendees
will also have a chance to win awesome door prizes.

Back to School Historical Trivia Bingo Night
UMHiSA is excited to announce our first event of the year! On September 16th at 8PM, we will be hosting a virtual Historical Trivia Bingo Night. The trivia will cover many different historical eras, events, and individuals. We will ask the questions and you will cross out the box with the answer on the unique bingo card you will receive at the start of the event. So, this bingo is a great way to review what you already know, learn something new, and most importantly, have fun with great people! If you attend and participate, you will also have the chance to win the door prize or the bingo prize.
